10 Questions Web Designers Don’t Want You To Ask When Hiring Them.
Hiring a good web designer may mean the difference between getting a great website in a matter of a few weeks and spending months of frustration dealing with a web designer who is inexperienced and untrustworthy. So before making that deposit to start your web design job, make sure you ask them the following questions.

1. Please give me a list of websites you’ve done recently
Experienced Web Designers should generally have around 10 website that they have worked on in the recent past.
2. How much do you charge and what is included in the price?
Do not engage them if they give you a price without finding out your needs. ( This is because If they don’t understand your needs and what you are expecting, they are likely to change the price later in the project. ) The price should generally does not include images but should give you a full functioning website.
3. Do you handle your web design in-house?
Some companies outsource their design to external designers. Avoid these since you are likely to have a lot of back and forth before you get the website you want.
4. Will I be able to edit the website on my own?
A good designer should develop the website in a way that allows you to edit the website yourself & make minor changes.
5. Will my Website be Mobile Friendly?
The majority of people use their phones to browse the internet. It is therefore very important that the website display beautifully on a mobile phone and tablet. The designer should not just answer yes, They should provide details
6. Are there any Extra fees I will need to pay after the website is done?
A Good Web Designer will use a premium theme to build your website. In this case, sometimes you may need to pay annual fees to receive updates. A great deal is when the designer already has a lifetime license installed on your website.
7. Do you offer a Warranty?
Most Web Designers will allow you a period of 1 month to issue any changes to your website.
8. Take Me Through Your Design Process
Their answer to this question will help you know the level of research and background preparation that they will do before beginning the actual design process. If they do not have a clear process, this should be a red flag that your website will be done without much thought.
9. Will I Have Full Access to My Website?
A good Designer will give you the login credentials to your website. This should include cPanel Login Credentials and the Content Management System Login Credentials. Your Domain Name Should also be in Your Name.
